The game of hockey is described as Canada's 'wintry religion': an iconic symbol of Canadian life. Dressing Room presents a series of large colour photographs of players in the lesbian and gay positive Women's Hockey Club of Toronto (WHCT).

The exhibition is a celebration and tribute to this recreational club, which has been functioning for approximately 15 years. Images of the players have been sourced in arena dressing rooms, during pre-game warm-ups, and in the game action itself. The photos capture the camaraderie, banter, and passion of the players, whether in individual or group photographic images. This exhibition is proud to contribute to the exciting history of the Women's Hockey Club of Toronto (WHCT).

Nancy Paterson has developed media works for exhibitions at numerous international art galleries and science museums including: interactive video installations, viewer responsive immersive environments, internet-based, 3D and tele-robotic projects.
