"It is true that we reap what we sew. It is also true that much of our lives are spent tending, whether pretending, intending, attending or contending. Tending to our business, tending to the seeds we have sewn. Extending tenderness, if time and our hearts allow."

Janet Morton's new site sensitive installation at the WARC Gallery, combines two focal aspects of her art practice: knitting and collecting discarded objects. Using wool and recycled plastic bottles, she explores her relationship to nature, excess and what it means to tend.
